Feel the Love at These Romantic Restaurants in Miami

Plan a special date and go to one of these super romantic spots in Miami!

Miami is a fun and exciting city where you are guaranteed to never get bored. With the hustle and bustle, some might worry about finding spots for a romantic experience with their partner, but those spots are actually not difficult. In Miami, there are many activities and places for you and your partner to enjoy each other’s company, and in this article we give you a list of restaurants in the city where you are sure to feel the love:

Peacock Garden Café

In the daylight, Peacock Garden Café on McFarlane Rd (near Peacock Park) is a bright and inviting spot to have brunch, and at night it turns into the ideal date night restaurant. It’s open from 11AM to 10PM on weekdays and 8AM to 10PM on weekends (11PM on Friday and Saturday). Their menu is extensive with items like breakfast classics (French toast, waffles, pancakes, etc.) and entrée staples (chicken, steak, etc.).

The salmon is a favorite among customers, according to reviews left for the restaurant on Yelp. Some previous customers also recommend the breakfast items, such as the Monte Cristo, eggs benedict and omelet. The dishes are made from fresh ingredients and are cooked expertly, so whatever you order, you will certainly enjoy your meal, which on average will cost around $30 to $50 per person depending on whether you come for brunch or dinner.

Whether you visit during the day or at night, it’s a great idea to ask to be seated at the garden area. The charming garden is the restaurant’s most romantic spot, and on a day with good weather, it creates a magical vibe.

Near Biscayne Blvd you will find Soyka, a favorite hangout spot among locals. It has three different menus for brunch, lunch and dinner with items like buttermilk pancakes, fresh ground salmon burger and wild mushroom shrimp risotto. Service runs from 11AM to 11PM, with hours extended until midnight on Friday and Saturday.

The restaurant is known for its elevated comfort food, and whether you order The Hangover Burger, mac n cheese, the skirt steak or honestly any item on their menu, you will receive an ample serving with bursting flavors. Aside from an ideal place to go grab grub with your date, Soyka is also a great place to get your drink on, as they have a good selection of drinks. Like the previous entry, a meal here will cost around $30 to $50 per person, but it’s all worth it for the serving size and quality.

The interiors of the restaurant are designed with vintage elements, and though quite charming, it might not be ideal for a date because of the noise when there are a lot of other customers. Try to reserve a table outdoors. The old-school chandeliers, hanging plants combined with the excellent food and just a few tables available in that area will make for a romantic evening.

Crazy About You

Let your date know you’re crazy about him or her and take them to a restaurant that says it all. Crazy About You on Brickell Bay Dr is an establishment with elegant modern interiors and a balcony with a great view of the water and the city. There is a wide range of variety in its menu, with items like blackened ahi tuna, margherita pizza and applewood grilled short rib.

The best thing about this place is the value for money. You will feel like you’re in a fancy place with the design of the restaurant and the quality of food, but an entrée will only set you back $17.99 to $32.99, and each one already includes the appetizer of your choice from a list that includes Chihuahua Cheese Casserole, Calamari Al Pepperoncini Flatbread and Mediterranean Antipasto.

Take a glass of wine with your meal at $5 per glass or $15 per bottle, and appreciate the spectacular view at the balcony. Should you get a table indoors, you will enjoy the ambiance of the beautifully decorated dining area.

Love is Blind

In the Coral Gables area, you will find Crazy About You’s sister restaurant, Love is Blind. It’s open from 11:30AM on weekdays and 10AM on weekends and closes at 10PM from Sunday to Tuesday, 10:30PM on Wednesday and Thursday and midnight on Friday and Saturday. It serves up menu items from around the world, such as spring rolls, frito mixto and grilled veal churrasco.

Like Crazy About You, Love is Blind offers entrees for under $32.99, and each one also comes with an appetizer. Also like its sister restaurant, the menu items here are familiar tastes with a twist and done to perfection. Another great reason to visit Love is Blind is the attentive (but not invasive) staff that is always happy to help you with recommendations from the menu and your other concerns.

Love Is Blind doesn’t have the spectacular view at Crazy About You, but it does have unique and artistic interiors. Fixtures and sculptures can be found around the restaurant, and the mood is set with great lighting from candles and the glass lights hanging from the gorgeous high ceiling. Overall, the place is charming, and the food is excellent, so you will surely impress your date.

Area 31

On the 16th floor of the Epic Hotel across Brickell Point, Area 31 serves as a spot for enjoying a tasty meal, superb view and the company of your date. Open from 7AM to 10PM daily, customers can take in the city while seated at the balcony area with food like pan seared salmon, ceviche and grilled octopus.

With its location inside a hotel, the prices here are more expensive than the previous entries. Your budget can go to around $40 to $60 per meal per person. The ingredients are fresh, and the servings are adequate, but the dishes aren’t super impressive.

What is super impressive at this restaurant is the view. With floor to ceiling windows, every customer will be able to see the city outside. For an extra romantic meal at Area 31, try to go at night to be able to see the lights of the city against the dark night sky.

La Mar

Couples who love Peruvian cuisine will find La Mar by Gastón Acurio a must for date night. Located at Mandarin Oriental in Brickell, La Mar serves up cebiches. tiraditos and several other Peruvian dishes from 11:30AM to 3:30PM and 6PM to 11PM everyday. Like Area 31, the budget for a meal at this restaurant is in the $40 to $60 range per person.

The restaurant has a very fun and welcoming atmosphere that couples will enjoy. The interiors are very colorful, and in the daytime, the sun streams into the space. It also has an outdoor area with palm trees and modern outdoor furniture, giving you the vibe of Miami. The best part is, whether you’re seated inside or outside, you will be treated with a romantic view of the city, the bridge and the water.

Aside from the interiors, even the food at La Mar is colorful. Beautiful and mouthwatering dishes come out of the kitchen, and a favorite is the cebiche sampler, which includes three different types of cebiche. Another favorite is the fideos machos, which is a squid ink pasta dish. Overall, the menu offers a variety of choices that are flavorful and exciting.

Casa Tua

Constantly in lists for romantic places in Miami, Casa Tua on James Ave doesn’t disappoint. Casa Tua is actually a hotel and restaurant designed as a Mediterranean villa and is well known as a destination for celebrating special occasions like anniversaries, birthdays and other relationship milestones. It’s quite popular, so it’s recommended to reserve ahead of your trip.

It has a quaint, homey atmosphere, both indoors and outdoors. The outdoor area is a garden filled with plants and trees, making it quite the venue for a romantic candlelit dinner, accompanied by wine and Italian dishes like tagliatelle and branzino. The restaurant is actually openly on from 7PM until 11PM on Sunday to Thursday and until midnight on Friday and Saturday. For a lovely dinner at this casa with your partner, expect to pay over $200.

The food is good, but be aware that this might not exactly be the place for a filling meal, as the place is mostly known for its ambiance and not the serving size of its dishes, which it turns out is quite small. Those who are having doubts about going to a pricey place with this in mind should consider other places on this list, like Soyka.
