Visit the Statue of Liberty
When planning your trip to NYC, it's a good idea to book tickets for your Statue of Liberty visit in advance. You have most likely seen Times Square in a thousand pictures. Times Square can be found at the intersection of Broadway and Seventh Avenue. It is not just about pictures and shopping, though! You will be in the middle of all the hustle and bustle. This includes all the yellow cabs, golden arches, huge skyscrapers, beeping traffic, thousands of people and just about anything that makes noise.
So many famous names have talked about Times Square in their songs, plays or films. In the early 70’s Times Square saw its most depressing time. Now it is the most buzzing place in the world! In the 1990’s mayor, Rudolph Giuliani got rid of all of that. He started bringing back the dazzle that Times Square was once known for. This involved starting up new, exciting businesses, increasing police presence and getting some great restaurants and bars to bring the crowds back.

Immerse Yourself in Culture at the Museum of Modern Art
New York City is the cultural hub of the world, so if you are looking for art you've hit the jackpot with the Museum of Modern Art! Also known as MoMA, the galleries in the museum encompass everything to do with modern art. Some of the biggest names present include Van Gogh, Matisse, Warhol, Picasso, and Bourgeois. But it is not just about paintings. There is art in all forms including prints, illustrations, architecture, design, drawings, photography and a range of sculptures.
There are so many exhibitions to see you will have to spend at least a day there to experience it in full.
