In the northern tip of the sunny state of California is where the beautiful and majestic city of San Francisco lies. The city stands out from the other cities of California because it lacks the usual heat and sun that is commonly associated with the surfing state. Instead what you can find in the city of San Francisco is its iconic year-round fog and hilly landscapes. There are many famous attractions that can be found all over the city including the ever-famous Golden Gate Bridge, the classic and still-functioning cable cars that run throughout the city, the now abandoned Alcatraz island prison, and the architecturally and aesthetically-pleasing Victorian houses which dots the street of San Francisco.

With so many sights to see and destinations to visit in this Californian city you might be wondering what more can you do in San Francisco? Easy! The peaceful city is also home to many wonderful and exciting shopping spots that will satisfy your craving for a bit of splurging. After all, the best way to relax is to enjoy some retail therapy. There's no better place to spend a little hard-earned cash than to do so after combing though San Francisco!

Canton Bazaar

One of the best and most popular (especially with locals) shopping districts in the city is Canton Bazaar. The exotic mix-and-match shopping district is where you can find some of the best bargains you will ever see during your trip to San Francisco, if not in your life. The eclectic collection of items in this shopping destination spans from home decorating items like silk lanterns, beautifully-crafted rattan trays, and even incense stands to add to your home. Other items that may interest you are the gorgeous kimonos, colorful brocades, and intricately-made jacquards, all of which are perfect to bring home as a gift. The bazaar offers so many different items that your head will spin on which one to bring home with you!

Shopping at Canton Bazaar in San Francisco isn't your everyday shopping trip, it's also a lovely cultural experience. Make it a point to stop by at Canton Bazaar on your next trip to San Francisco!

Sometimes all you need is a blast of your totally 100% American mall where you can find anything and everything you're looking for. Just like every big city in the U.S., San Francisco also has their fair share of your quintessential American mall. One of those malls is the Stonestown Galleria straight down 19th Avenue. This is the type of mall where you can get lost and not even notice that you've already been shopping the entire day. There's just that many choices and shops to look into!

You can find your major players like Nordstrom and Macy's if you feel like browsing through their stocks just to pass the time. There are also a multitude of smaller specialty shops that's always great fun to pop inside of like H&M, Pandora, and The Body Shop. When your feet are aching and your tummy starts rumbling, Stonestown Galleria also has an excellent food court with a lot of different selections. From Panda Express to Starbucks, whatever you're craving for, the mall's food court probably has it. If you're in the mood to watch indie films, the Stonetown Twin is just adjacent to the mall and is the best place to catch an indie flick or two if you just want to spend a day relaxing.
