6 "Good Time Guaranteed" Bars in Brooklyn's Park Slope

Check out these five watering holes in Brooklyn's Park Slope neighborhood for a perfect no-frills evening.

Brooklyn’s Park Slope neighborhood may be known for its Lululemon-wearing, stroller-carting young moms, but it’s no stranger to a solid watering hole. Just a quick subway ride outside of Manhattan, Park Slope brings the best of city living—beautiful brownstones, plentiful green space and copious amounts of shops, restaurants and bars.

Did we mention bars? Using Park Slope's 5th Avenue as your center point, head South from Atlantic Avenue for a night bar hopping. Be sure to venture to at least one of these five favorites along the way. And Hipsters delight - don't forget your mustache.

With a warehouse vibe, this bi-level gem brings the ample space of a performance venue to a comfy-cozy “I’m just going to chill over here in my library” dwelling. It's the perfect outing for a larger group of friends, but the warm fireplace nooks make it intimate enough for a fun date.

Union Hall also boasts a large selection of local microbrews, craft beers, cocktails and a solid bar menu. The beer cheese with Ritz crackers is the perfect pairing to an ice cold pint.

Mission Dolores

Address:
249 4th Avenue
Brooklyn, NY 11215

Up for some board games? Fancy some pinball? It’s the Brooklyn way. Head over to Mission Dolores, the tire shop turned sports bar with a fantastic beer menu. 21 beers on tap to be exact. Cocktail lovers fear not - the drink list is also pretty solid. The Wasabi Bloody Mary is killer and The Salty Dog is the perfect outdoor patio pairing.

Named with a nod to San Francisco's oldest religious structure and it's accompanying park, Mission Dolores the bar doesn't much reference to its West Coast namesake. The owner's have managed to turn a once rather dilapidated space into the perfect "concrete jungle" watering hole. Weathered brick walls line the bar accented by reclaimed wood, a glass roof, and the perfect outdoor garden space.

Oh, did we mention they're dog-friendly? Major points.
