1. 2016 Savannah Music Festival

This event will feature more than 100 performances over two weeks and will showcase superb artists in a variety of music genres including American, classical, and jazz. Peruse the wonderful historic district and indulge in some seriously great music and entertainment during this annual festival

2. Dirty Dolls Burlesque Revue

Running until Mid-March, this edgy, one-of-a-kind show is in its second year already. This event is certainly not for the faint of heart, yet manages to perfectly blend contemporary and classic styles of burlesque infused with modern ballet as well as fire and aerial performances. While still new to the annual calendar, they show no signs of slowing down at all. This late-night show entertains audiences with what they call a "contemporary twist on the art of tease", and you can be sure you're going to pick up a few new tricks yourself!

3. PULSE Art and Technology Festival

For almost 10 years now, the Telfair Museums have hosted this festival which attracts more than 4,000 visitors each year. This festival is a terrific showcasing of artists and designers from around the world and their creative uses of technology. This year will include features like the ingenious installation of Lisa Park's entitled Eunoia II, which uses a person's brainwaves to control puddles of water, and Daniel Rozin's acclaimed mechanical mirrors. Workshops are also found here allowing the younger crowd to get an introductory taste of coding, sound art, and video game development in a hands-on style.

4. Savannah Home and Garden Show

The Low Country Home & Garden Show has been going strong for 16 years now and features everything you can imagine and more when it comes to gardens, water features, Do-It-Yourself projects and "how-to." This is certainly the place to be for those with insatiable green thumbs and DIY cravings. This year will feature celebrity guest Jeff Lewis, as well as kids' workshops, pet adoptions, and much, much, more.

5. 2016 Savannah Boat Show

The men certainly haven't been forgotten here as proven by the next event in this list. Entering its 14th year, the Savannah Boat Show is perfectly located to be accessible for enthusiasts from three states. Powerboats are the feature with this event, and each year numerous seminars and demonstrations are held showing off the features of the latest boat models, its features, and much more. But this show isn't strictly for men. This is a great event for all ages and definitely a great event to check out with the whole family.

6. Savannah Stopover Music Festival

This festival, which is heading into its fifth year, is simply advantageous of the city being in a great location. The ever-popular SXSW Music conference in Austin, Texas is always filled with superior performers and visitors alike, and many pass through this gorgeous city en route to Austin each year. Savannah has gladly welcomed these performers for years and managed to incorporate an annual festival featuring these artists during their stopover... hence the name. This three-day festival provides a great opportunity to experience some of these performances up close and personal in an intimate setting while being able to roam among various venues with drink in hand as long as you stay in the historic district.
