It’s served with some whipped potato, mushroom, and bone marrow at the side. The langoustine ravioli is scrumptious. The pasta is delicate but satisfying and the inside is absolutely perfect. The foie gras emulsion balances out the taste of the pasta and the lettuce with foie grass is quite delectable without overpowering the taste of the vegetable. The veal cheeks are marvellous and served with broth and some veggies. Mr. Mamas has a family friendly vibe and is a great place to grab some brunch. The pancakes are huge, fluffy, and delicious. It’s no wonder that so many customers rave about them. The Mamas Sandwich is stuffed with bacon, turkey, pepper jack cheese, and avocado all on some perfectly toasted bread to hold it all together and some homemade french fries on the side. The Cinnamon bun is like a little slice of heaven. It’s fresh from the oven and drizzled with sugary glaze sauce. The Hash Browns are the perfect balance of being crunch on the outside but soft, moist and warm on the inside. Another lip smacking dish is the Biscuits and Gravy. The gravy isn’t just normal gravy. It has maple syrup and bacon bits in it. The texture is rich and creamy but not too heavy on the stomach. The biscuits are nice and crispy to complement the gravy. Overall, Mr. Mamas lives up to its hype though the wait may take a while, they are guaranteed to provide excellent service and fantastic food that will keep you coming back for more.

Some of the most to die for sandwiches can be found in Baguette Cafe. After one bite, you’ll know that they only use fresh and quality ingredients in their food. A best selling sandwich is the Blue Brie with Chicken. For something with a bit of a twist, try the chicken curry sandwich. If you’re feeling bit under the weather, the Vegetable Medley soup should give you a quick boost. They also have a Veggie Quiche which is light and full of flavor. There are also a few salads. I recommend giving the Greek salad a shot. It has feta cheese, red onions, cucumber, black olives, tomatoes, dressing, and even some homemade hummus and warm pita bread. You mustn’t leave without trying the fruit and chocolate tarts. They taste delightful and are wonderful desserts. The food is simple, tasty, and satisfying. The owner is a very friendly and accommodating man named Oliver. If you happen to drop by and he’s there, he might just come up to you and say hi.

Simply Pure by Chef Stacey Dougan
Simply Pure is one of the best places to go to if you’re looking for some tasty, healthy, raw food. The pesto zucchini pasta is superb and uses top quality pesto sauce. It has a thick and creamy consistency and the texture of the noodles are soft and chewy. It’s top with sun dried tomatoes which add a nice touch to the plate and generous servings of zucchini which makes it a very filling dish. The vegan nachos are light, savory, and will leave you feeling more than satisfied. For a quick snack, the Thai Vegan Spring Rolls are huge, appetizing, and served with sweet and sour sauce on the side. Most of the items are raw vegan food but they also have some non-raw options. For example, a wrap can be served in a tortilla instead of lettuce. Another best seller is the Nachos Grande. There are corn chips, avocado, vegan beef, pico de gallo, and vegan cheddar cheese. It is out of these world and one of the best nachos ever. Simply Pure may cost a bit more but their portions are plentiful and enough to feed two people or if you’re just really hungry. This restaurant has indoor seating and is located inside Container Park so you can opt to order a dish to go and enjoy it while relaxing at the park.

Bronze Cafe is a hidden gem located in Downtown Las Vegas. They serve some of the most delicious vegetarian food in the city. The atmosphere is so relaxed that for a while, you will forget that you’re in Las Vegas. For something really filling, go with the vegucated sandwich which tastes like a turkey bacon sandwich but healthier. It’s stuffed with avocado, coconut bacon jam, vegan bacon, tofurkey, in a lightly toasted ciabatta bread. The tofurkey and vegan burger is so scrumptious that you won’t even miss the meat. Have a glass of watermelon chia juice with your meal. It’s best taken cold. The Tree of Life Pita is the bomb. It has a zesty kick and is full of melt in your mouth goodness. For dessert, the macho chia juice is a healthy and sweet option without all the unhealthy sugar and calories. There are excellent soups, salads, sandwiches, desserts, baked treats, and smoothies who are looking for healthy, vegan, and reasonably prices meals.

For a nice and light dish to wet your palette, the watermelon salad is just that. It’s a tasty and refreshing salad that isn’t too heavy on the stomach. It’s filled with different herbs that mesh well together but doesn’t overpower the taste of the watermelon. It makes a great appetizer before having the main course. Another noteworthy appetizer is the Hummus and Tahini. It tastes very fresh and home made and is served with hot, pita bread to dip it in. The brussel sprouts are full of crispy goodness and will leave you munching for quite a while. They’re toasted to perfection and have capers, toasted hazelnut mix, almonds, parsley, and red wine vinaigrette. The Chicken Tagine is exquisite. Moist and flavorful chicken seasoned with almonds, preserved lemon, olives, and served on a bed of fragrant saffron rice. Just inhaling its aroma will make you hungry. Make sure to leave some room for dessert. The sweet toffee cake is perfect and will satisfy anyone with a sweet tooth. The cake is served hot with a generous scoop of vanilla ice cream on top.

For meat lovers out there, Edge Steakhouse is one of the best steakhouses in Las Vegas and a must to visit. I recommend the 10oz Manhattan Sirloin with a side of Brussels sprouts, it’s so good you can feel it melting in your mouth like butter! Their foie gras is an excellent choice (if you like foie gras). It’s served on brioche French toast with chopped apples and maple reduction. For side dishes, you can order wasabi mashed potatoes which come in 3 flavours cauliflower gratin, and asparagus with burrata. For dessert, they serve creme brûlée, parfaits, and my personal favourite—cheesecake pops. They’re served as a set of six pieces, two flavours each, and the bestseller is the peanut butter. With their generous servings, perfectly grilled steaks, and great customer service, this diner is one worth visiting.

Earl of Sandwich
If you’re on a modest budget and looking for some great tasting sandwiches, Earl of Sandwich is great place to have a quick bite to eat after clubbing or even to grab some breakfast. Their creamy tomato soup is delicious, especially when you dip your sandwich in it. You can’t go wrong with ordering a classic such as The Original. It’s a roast beef sandwich with wheat bread. If you’re watching your weight, the Chipotle Chicken Avocado is also a good choice. Feeling a little adventurous? Try the All-American on wheat. It has a unique combination of ranch dressing and cranberry sauce, and though it’s an unusual mix, the flavour it creates is actually very good. The line moves quite fast at Earl of Sandwich! You place your order at the first register, they tell you your total and give you a buzzer, and you proceed to the second register to pay. Simple as that!

Just because their dishes have no eggs, milk, or meat, doesn’t mean they aren't appetizing. VegeNation’s dishes are so delicious and fresh that even carnivores will keep coming back for more. For something light and refreshing, you can order the Save the Tuna vegan sushi appetizer. They also have a dish called the East West Taco which come in 3 tacos and the servings are quite generous. The dumplings and buns have a delectable flavour and texture. The sauce that is paired with the dumplings is perfect and can be used on other dishes. You can tell that this restaurant really cares for the planet. Each platter has been carefully crafted, seasoned to perfection, and its presentation is pleasing to the eye.

Who doesn’t love pizza? This place serves some of the best pizzas in Vegas and offers many different kinds of pizza to choose from. The only downside to it is that with so much variety, it will take some time to choose which one you want. You should grab a margherita pizza, it is a must try as it has been certified official by Italy and they only make 77 a day. Make sure to order one before they’ve reached their daily limit. The diavola pizza tastes just like it was made in Italy, with fresh arugula and large pepperoni slices. If you’re a meat lover, the molinari pizza is a great mix of different meat flavours. Try to go on a weekday as Pizza Rock is quite crowded on the weekend.

Le Thai is a fun hidden gem on Fremont Street. Their menu offers the normal dishes found on any Thai menu, but there is one dish that really stands out—short rib fried rice. Order this with some pad see ew and the combination of flavours they create is amazing. I also recommend their chicken wings and Pad Thai noodles. If you want something spicy, try out the different curries and pair it with a glass of spiked Thai tea. The decor of the interior is really nice, however, most of their seats are outdoors, so if it’s a sunny day and you’re planning on ordering some spicy dishes, make sure you’re prepared for the heat. Most dishes are priced at $12 so if you’re craving for some asian food while Downtown, Le Thai is a good place to eat.

Other Mama is known for their bar and raw bar, but the everyday menu is also amazing. You can almost taste the ocean with how clean and fresh their oysters are. Instead of the typical vinegar, balsamic, and lemon, they offer you a variety of sauces and condiments such as Wasabi Cocktail and Rosemary Mignonette to pair with the oysters. If you want a simple dish that isn’t overpowered with too many flavours and sauces, their bronzino is a good choice. The fish is well prepared and cooked. The only ingredients used are salt, pepper, lemon slices, and some rosemary. It’s delicious, simple, flaky, and crispy. A must to order when you go here. Another popular dish to try is the caviar and french toast. It’s a weird mix, but the saltiness of the caviar and the sweet taste of French toast makes a delightful combination.

After going to the different tourist spots in Las Vegas, MTO Cafe is a great place to eat and rest. This restaurant caters to vegans, meat lovers, and everyone in between. My favourite is their turkey melt sandwich. It comes with chipotle aoli, fresh avocado, and melted pepper jack cheese. This combination is the recipe for the perfect sandwich. If you’re craving for something sweet but healthy, try their vegan pancakes with a side of agave nectar. They’re soft, fluffy, delicious, and sweet enough to satisfy your sweet tooth. Another best seller for vegans is the Broccoli Skillet with added avocado. The dish is prepared with egg whites, cheese, spinach, broccoli, and more vegetables. If you came in a car, don’t forget to check-in because MTO will validate your parking and even give you a free cookie. Who doesn’t love free stuff? They provide healthy portions and quality food so you’ll leave MTO feeling very satisfied.

Dona Maria Tamales
This restaurant has been in Las Vegas for 30 years now. Wanna know how they survived for so long? One word, three syllables, my friend: TA-MA-LES. There are four types of tamales to choose from: green tamales contain shredded chicken with hot sauce, so if you want something spicy, order the green. Red tamales are filled with pulled pork in mild sauce, great for those seeking something simple. Cheese tamales are made with Monterey Jack and green chiles. And last but not least, are the sweet tamales prepared with pineapple and raisins. If you’re really hungry or eating with a lot of people, their nachos are a great appetiser and the cheese is homemade. You can taste the freshness of the cheese just by the aromas wafting from the kitchen. If you want to go drinking, their margaritas are excellent and they offer them at bargain prices before 6pm. This small, family-owned restaurant provides excellent food and a home cooked atmosphere. Their service is quick, friendly, and the atmosphere is quite festive. Though it’s a little bit on the pricey side, you get what you pay for with the portions and taste.
