1. Cinespia Cemetery Screenings

If you are up for a romantic date under the stars, then this is the place for you! The Cinespia Cemetery Screenings is one of a kind. You can bring blankets and pillows and just relax and watch a movie that they are offering. The tickets start at $18, which in Los Angeles isn't a bad price to have some much needed relaxation time.

If you or your spouse love double dates, triple dates, etc... The Maze Room would be the perfect place to check out. It is an interactive escape game which involves you thinking how you are going to escape from certain themed games, such as the Motel room and the hardest of all The FBI.

Are you up to take on this challenge? Many people cannot make it out on time, and even if you didn't at least you will leave with a lot of fun memories to talk about for years to come. I mean come on, the Maze room has taken a game out from behind the computer into the real world!

3. No Vacancy

Ready to impress your date, No Vacancy is the place to go. Friday and Saturday nights they have a mini burlesque show to start your night off in the right direction. As you enter the bar there is a surprise in store for you, definitely the best part of the night. But I wouldn't want to spoil that for you and don't try searching for it anywhere, because other guests are keeping their mouths sealed tight.

No Vacancy is open from 8pm until 2 in the morning. To make sure you get a spot it is best to call ahead of time or reserve a table online. It is a little high priced when it comes to their drinks, but it is so worth the fun and entertainment you will have.

4. Lucky Strike

How could you go wrong with a night of bowling and drinking? Of course there is no way. Lucky Strike Bowling in Los Angeles would be the perfect place for you and your significant other to have a night full of laughter, strikes and excitement along with your friends.

The service at Lucky Strikes is amazing and their menu is by far the best food you can get at a bowling place. If you check it out I would recommend trying their A2K Burger with a side of Irish Nachos. One taste of their food you will for sure make plans to have more date nights at Lucky Strike.

5. Exposition Park

Attention all couples who love the outdoors: why go for a typical dinner and a movie date? Skip the show and go for a walk instead. The rose garden at Exposition Park is too beautiful to not stop and admire, but it is only open from 9am until sunset so make sure you get their within that time frame. Once you are tired of walking around go and sit by the fountain and just talk about your day, future, propose whatever you have in mind for your special night.

The park charges $10 for parking, but you can skip paying by parking somewhere else and walking to the park instead. Other than the parking fee everything else is free to do such at the African American Museum and the Science Museum has some exhibits that are free. Don't forget that a cheap date can be one of the most memorable dates you could ever have.

6. Santa Monica Pier

When talking about Santa Monica, the Santa Monica Pier automatically comes to mind, as its red and yellow Ferris wheel is practically the icon of the city. (Think about it, you rarely see photos of Santa Monica without its eye catching views of the pier and the Ferris wheel.)

The Pier features Pacific Park, which one of the few full service amusement parks left in the country, and here you'll find—aside from the region's one and only brightly colored, solar powered Ferris wheel and roller coaster—many different restaurants, bars, a massive arcade featuring over 200 different games, and shops selling trinkets of all kinds.

You and your sweetie can relive the good old days by strolling through the pier, sharing a huge fluff of cotton candy. Take a ride on the historic Looff Hippodrome Carousel, and cap the date off by sharing a big sundae at the vintage soda shop next to it. Or a big glass of milkshake with two straws!

Are you and your S.O. music lovers? On warm summer Thursday nights, come over to the Santa Monica Pier for their Twilight Concert. This concert is free, and the music genre changes each week, from classic rock to techno. The concert starts at 7:00 p.m. and lasts until 10:00 p.m.

Are you and your beloved history buffs? Sign up for a historical walking tour to learn more about the changes to the pier over the last 100 years. Learn interesting tidbits, like the places that were hangouts to famous stars like Marilyn Monroe or Charlie Chaplin. Explore every secret nook and cranny of the pier, like the hidden apartments above the carousel. Or learn the story about a fishing boat captain that was "immortalized as a world famous cartoon character!" (Hint: he has squinty eyes, smokes a pipe, laughs weird, and loves spinach!)

Public tours do not require a prior reservation. Just go over to the Pier Shop at the historic Merry Go Round Building, and look for the Pier docents in blue shirts.

For couples who like fishing, there are several bait and tackle shops here. So get your equipment, on to the end of the pier and start fishing! After all, in light of shared interests, the couple who fish together, stays together. Whoever knew fishing could be so romantic?

Or if you are a kind soul and cringe at the thought of causing the fish any harm, and would rather be the silent observer behind thick glass, visit the Santa Monica Pier Aquarium instead. Over 100 local species call the aquarium home, and there are hands on exhibits like feeding tanks and touch tanks. Sign up for the feeding program every Tuesdays and Fridays at 2:30, and help the staff feed the creatures. Or you can bring your sweetie over at 3:30 every Sundays to watch the sharks being fed, and preferably have her squeal in fright and take shelter in your arms. Wink wink.

7. Decanso Gardens

This 160 acre is a verdant urban oasis that is a delight to explore. It features a camellia oak forest, a bird sanctuary, a 5-acre rose garden with roses from all over the world, a turtle pond, bubbling little streams and a beautiful lake. There's even a rare pre-historic garden featuring cyad plants that have been around when dinosaurs still roamed the earth.

The natural beauty and wildlife here is overwhelming. While strolling through the forest, one gets to see different species of lizards, squirrels, sparrows, woodpeckers and other birds.

There are hiking trails up the hill, and when you get high enough, you will be rewarded with a stunning view of the gardens and the surrounding mountains. While here on top, make sure to drop by The Boddy House to learn more about the garden's history, and also about the man who once owned the property and created the garden.

Drop by during spring time to see the cherry blossom trees bloom. It is a magical sight, with the pink flowers in bloom.

On the other hand, visit during the month of October, when the garden hosts a pumpkin lantern festival in the evenings. The lit pumpkins at night make a beautiful albeit eerie sight.

Admission is free on every third Tuesday of the month.

8. Sunset Dinner Cruise

You and sweetie can go on a wild adventure! Ride in an open top safari jeep through the Malibu Wine Safaris, and experience the exciting Saddlerock Ranch! But of course, this is a wine tasting tour, and after your meet and greet with the animals, the safari trip continues through the vineyards at Turtlerock Trailhead, where you can all the grapes being grown. In this trip, you will see how wine is made from grapes to that delicious nectar that is stored in glass bottles.
