6 of the Best Lake Buena Vista Hotels

For perfect accommodations in the Lake Buena Vista area, check out these beautiful hotels and their excellent amenities.

Lake Buena Vista is a city on the outskirts of Orlando, but it is a little bit different than most of the other cities in the area. You can’t live there, but Mickey Mouse does! Technically, Lake Buena Vista is the mailing address location of the Walt Disney World Resort, and the city itself is actually owned by the Walt Disney company. Long ago, there were plans to build a futuristic living community there, but today, the population of Lake Buena Vista is only 10, and includes a couple of important members of the Walt Disney company and their families. Despite the strange history of this unique city, it is now filled with hotels, so if you are looking for a place to stay in Orlando, you are definitely looking in the right place!

Take note that many of the Walt Disney World Resort hotels are technically also located in and around Lake Buena Vista. Despite this, the hotels listed below are not owned or operated by Disney, making them great choices no matter what your Orlando-area plans may be.

Clarion Inn Lake Buena Vista

There is a lot to do at the Clarion Inn Lake Buena Vista, and depending on when you visit, you might find it difficult to leave your hotel at all! This hotel is located just outside the back door to Walt Disney World, minutes away from the Disney Springs shopping and dining area. However, on the hotel site itself, you can enjoy breakfast or dinner at the Boardwalk Buffet Restaurant, or relax for drinks and small plates at the Comfort Zone Bar and Grille. If you love golf, you might want to book the hotel’s golf package, which includes a tee time at the nearby Rosen Shingle Creek course.

Clarion Inn Lake Buena Vista has an excellent romantic getaway package, if you are looking to book a trip for two to the area. With at least one night of accommodation, the package includes a daily breakfast for two as well as a bottle of wine from Florida’s local Lakeridge Winery in Clermont. There are not a lot of different room layout options at this hotel, so choose a king bed room if you’re planning a couples’ getaway, or go with the two double beds if you have a kid or two in tow. Both options are very comfortable and sure to please.

B Resort and Spa

For something a little bit different than the other hotels in the Lake Buena Vista area, check out the B Resort and Spa. This hotel is very modern, with a swanky, sophisticated vibe that makes it just as fun as it is luxurious. The hotel is located near Disney Springs, at Disney’s back door, which puts it at a prime location for area exploration. If you are traveling alone, as part of a couple, or with a large family, B Resort and Spa prides itself on its ability to create a custom tailored accommodation experience that is perfect for you and your specific needs.

After checking in, head to the pool to enjoy a cocktail from the pool bar, or order a pizza via room service and relax in your comfortable and stylish quarters. In the mornings, join fellow guests at the on-site breakfast buffet before grabbing a shuttle to your favorite Disney theme park. Choose from several different room options, including the smaller Chic room with two queen beds, the Captivating queen or king rooms with views of the Disney skyline, the Enhanced Junior Suite, or the large and luxurious Signature Master Suite. This is a very affordable hotel, with the master suite running the same as a standard night stay at many other area hotels, so don’t pass this one by!

Wyndham Lake Buena Vista

When you book your stay at the Wyndham Lake Buena Vista, you know you are planning your accommodations in one of the most well-known hotel chains in the country. The Wyndham resorts are all filled with incredible amenities delivered via sparkling service that can’t compete with any other area hotels. At the Wyndham Lake Buena Vista, you will also enjoy all of the benefits of a hotel stay on Disney property. Although this hotel is not technically owned or operated by Disney, it is still located close enough to Disney Springs that it includes the park’s hotel perks.

If you are traveling with a family that includes younger kids, be sure to check out the breakfast buffet at the hotel’s on-site restaurant. Kids eat free with the purchase of at least one adult meal ticket, and on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, the breakfasts are hosted by some of your favorite classic Disney characters. To perfectly round off your Disney area stay, choose one of the Disney view tower rooms, from which you can see the Disney Springs area. On the other hand, if you were hoping for something a little quieter to give yourself a break from the park atmosphere, choose a lake view tower room instead, and you can have the best of both worlds.

The hotel is even decked out with plenty of modern business facilities, if you want to work while you’re soaking up that Florida sunshine!

While you can walk to Disney Springs from this hotel, you nevertheless might want to consider staying on your hotel’s property and dining at the on-site Benihana at least one night while you are there. Head to the pool and relax with a cocktail from the bar, then round out the night with a trip to the arcade or the kids’ play area. Of course, for the full Disney hotel experience, you can make that trek down the road to Disney Springs and play all night long! Book your room with a view of Disney Springs or facing the opposite side of the hotel. Either way, you can choose between two queen beds, one king bed, a junior suite, a one-bedroom parlor suite, or a spacious two-bedroom family suite.

Because of its proximity to the parks, there is plenty to pick from in the general vicinity of this hotel. There are not a lot of different room choices available at the Courtyard Orlando Lake Buena Vista, but you can select a queen or king standard guest room, a king room with an in-suite whirlpool tub, a king room with a sofa bed, or a king room with a conference suite if you happen to be traveling for business purposes.
