1. The Ice Rink at the Cosmopolitan Hotel

The Cosmopolitan Las Vegas Hotel transforms their rooftop pool overlooking the gorgeous city of Vegas into an ice rink during the wintertime. Another fun and family-friendly festive place to go around Christmas time in Vegas is the Fountains of Bellagio at the Bellagio Hotel for the ultimate holiday performance. Watch as the huge, beautiful fountains move and dance to Christmas tunes, all for the the affordable price of free!

Wow, this is a fun one. Take your holidays to a whole new level at Sam's Town Mystic Falls Laser Light Show during the days of November 28 to December 23 for a Christmas-themed light show! This is an over-the-top, breathtaking show filled with dozens of lasers and Christmas lights, a waterfall, snow, Christmas trees, and other decorations festive for the holidays. Plus, Santa will be making his rounds at the show for the children! One guest says, "They have a big waterfall with animatronic animals, lots of greenery and streams. 4. The Magical Forest at Opportunity Village

5. Winter PARQ Snow Tubing at the LINQ
Fun for both children and adults, Winter PARQ offers snow tubing down a 30-foot snowy slope at the LINQ! Refreshments and a bar will also be available for you to refuel as well as carolers walking around singing Christmas songs. 6. Downtown Summerlin Holiday Parade
Who doesn't love a good holiday parade? The Downtown Summerlin Holiday Parade will be offered 20 different nights, each lasting from 7 to 7:30 p.m. This is definitely an event for the whole family! If you come a half hour early, be prepared for giveaways and crowd activities, all for free! Eight floats, dancers, drummers, and Christmasy characters and critters will be prancing around to holiday tunes during this fun-filled parade. Bring all your friends and family! This cute, little parade will lighten your spirits and leave you smiling all night long as this makes for a night to remember.

7. Christmas Craft Fair & Gift Market
This festive event may not include a Christmas parade or have snow tubing, but it is a fun holiday event Vegas has to offer! What better way than to get into the Christmassy mood while supporting your local craft makers, businesses, and vendors than to attend the Vegas Christmas Craft Fair? Hosted by the Valley Bible Fellowship in Vegas and hosting over 70 vendors, this second annual fair has a lot to offer. Some of the vendors included in this event are Bows by B, Little Sweet Somethings, Kaleen Crafts, Sassy Pants Creations, Scentsy, Quiltingly Caroline, Purses by Chris, and Kev's Woodworking. Also offered at this event are free pictures with Santa for the kids, free face painting, bounce houses, raffles, and live performances and entertainment. Do not miss this ONE day event!

8. Jingle Bell Run
Before indulging on a large Christmas dinner and holiday cookies, getting as many workouts in as you can is the best thing you can do for your body during the holidays. Luckily, there will be a Jingle Bell Run (or walk, if you prefer) in Las Vegas on December 12th! This 5k run is considered to be one of the largest and most popular holiday runs out there. This event also offers a 1 mile run and 10k run as well, for those wanting a shorter or longer distance. The best part is, is that this is a run for a cure for arthritis, raising money for the cause while you're getting a good workout! Double the fun! If you do decide to run, don't forget to wear a holiday-themed costume, or simply be there to show your support to find a cure for arthritis, the leading cause of disability in the world. Also be sure to stay for the events taking place afterwards! Kids are very much welcome to the run, and there will even be a separate run taking place just for the kids, awards, and a festival area and kids zone!
