Where to Eat on the Las Vegas Strip: 24 Places to Try

Where to Eat on the Las Vegas Strip: 24 Places to Try

The Strip has many places to satisfy you and whether you’re craving something Asian, American, Mexican, or just a good sandwich, this city has it all.

1. Joe’s Seafood Prime Steak & Stone Crab

The Manhattan Clam Chowder makes for an excellent appetizer. A warm, hearty soup so good that each drop will be gone by the time you're finished. Their oysters are absolutely divine. They're so fresh that you can almost taste the ocean. By the time they get to your table, you can still taste most of its natural flavor. All you need is some tabasco sauce and horseradish if you’re looking for that added kick. The Grilled Seafood Platter gives you a bit of variety. It comes with scallops, lobster tails, and Madagascar shrimp. Each piece is juicy, tender and grilled to perfection. Make sure to leave some room for dessert. The Banana Cream Pie is marvelous and drizzled with Banana Foster sauce.

2. El Dorado Cantina

Head over to El Dorado Cantina for some of the most authentic and delicious Mexican food on The Strip. None of their dishes contain dangerous preservatives because they only use organic and non-GMO ingredients so you can be assured that what you’re eating is healthy and safe. For staters, try the Taco Trio. It comes in three flavors namely carnitas, carne aside, and al pastor which is served with black beans and their signature rice. The Shrimp Taquitos with Guacamole is another good dish to try. It can serve up to 4 people so it’s great for sharing of if you’re just really hungry. The shrimps are huge and it wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say that their Guacamole is some of the best in the city. You can’t go wrong with the signature Siegal Plate. The grilled chicken is really tender and you can feel it practically melting in your mouth, the marinated steak tastes like heaven and the fried onions on the side are delicious. The Flan and Churros are a great way to end your meal. The Flan is made fresh daily and I can guarantee that you won’t regret ordering it.

3. Earl of Sandwich

Are you looking for some cheap, but delicious food? Look no further because Earl of Sandwich has some of the best tasting sandwiches on The Strip. It’s a great place to go to if you want a nice place to relax after clubbing of to grab some breakfast. Their tomato soup is creamy and scrumptious. It tastes even better when you dip your sandwich in it. Can’t decide? Then go with a classic choice like The Original. It’s a roast beef sandwich served on whole wheat bread. Looking for a healthier option? The Chipotle Chicken Avocado is perfect for those watching their weight, on a diet, or just want something healthy to eat. Feeling a little adventurous? Give the All American Wheat a shot. They use cranberry sauce and ranch dressing and though it’s a unique combination, it’s really good.

4. Jasmine

Located inside the Bellagio Hotel is Jasmine and just like most restaurants in the area, it’s a little pricey but you certainly get what you pay for with high grade food and service which will not disappoint. Begin your meal with the Duck Trio. It consists of cold duck meat salad, foie gras, and roasted duck. You mustn’t leave without trying the Pecking Duck. Crispy skin, tender meat, and the taste is outstanding! The Dungeness Crab is cooked sampan style and is seasoned with salt, pepper, garlic, and chili. It’s cooked in a way that despite all the spices, you can still taste the rich flavor of the meat. Another dish I recommend is the Braised Short Ribs. The meat is boiled just enough that you can easily cut it with your knife and it’s served with a thick and flavorful sauce that goes well with it. Try to catch a seat near the window where you can enjoy an unobstructed view of the Bellagio Fountains while you eat.

5. Gangnam Asian BBQ Dining

Unleash the carnivore in you by trying out the different cuts of high quality, premium meat at Gangnam Asian BBQ Dining. If the name rings a bell, that’s probably because of one of the most populars songs “Gangnam Style” and just like where the song originated, what’s served as this restaurant is mostly Korean food. The pork belly is great and packs a punch. They serve plenty of strips per order and this version of bacon feels a lot healthier than the western kind so ordering more doesn’t feel like clogging your arteries. There are different sauces to dunk it in and decide which suites your palette. The fillet mignon is succulent. Though the cuts are rather thick, they’re still soft and tasty. Since the slices are huge, eating a piece usually equates to putting the whole piece in your mouth so if you’re not well versed with using chopsticks, don’t be shy and ask for some utensils. For something with that added kick, order the spicy seafood ramen. When I say spicy, the food really is spicy and enough to make it feel like your tongue is on fire but it doesn’t overpower the taste of ramen. Drop by Gangnam Asian BBQ Dining for some of the best Korean barbecue meats you’ll ever try.

6. SkinnyFATS

They’ve got everything from juices, smoothies, appetizers, salads, sandwiched, breakfast, brunch, and sides. The steak eyes are the bomb! Two huge pieces of steak with country style batter, 2 poached eggs, 2 biscuits, and sausage gravy. Anyone with a voracious appetite will leave more than happy once they get a whiff of this platter. The steak is good and juicy, the biscuits are moist but not soggy, the eggs are on point and this is basically perfection on a plate. The filet on fire sandwich is another chart topper. Filet mignon with avocado pico, topped both jalapeno spread, served in between two slices of garlic Texas toast. It’s quite an impressive sandwich. The truffle fries are another hyped dish with a unique flavour and nice crunch. For something light on the stomach, the yummus which is hummus spread on pita and seasoned with a bit of lime sea salt is what you should go for.

7. Bronze Cafe

For a nice, cold, refreshing drink, try the strawberry lemon grass basil. Just like its name suggests, it’s completely healthy and doesn’t contain any sugar, perfect for those watching their weight or looking for a more nutritious drink. The California turkey sandwich with a salad is full of freshness in every bite. It contains lettuce, spinach, avocados, and turkey. Bacon lovers, you mustn’t miss out on the LGBTQ sandwich. It’s got two kinds of bacon - bacon jam and bacon strips, as well as cucumbers, mixed greens, tomatoes, lemon aioli, and topped with some homemade lemon vinaigrette on a ciabatta bread. You can find Bronze Cafe at the center of The Gay & Lesbian Community Center in Nevada, Las Vegas. The cafe minimizes the use of animal protein, and focus on wholesome and fresh ingredients.

8. Oyster Bar

Oyster Bar is one of the most legendary restaurants in the city. From pan roasts, chowders, gumbos, and of course, oysters. You can even select how spicy you want the dish to be. The pan roasts and gumbos are cooked in front of your very eyes and the aromas alone are enough to make you salivate. The Palace Pan Roast is a zesty tomato soup concoction with a creamy texture. There are sausage, crab, shrimp, chicken, and a side of rice. The gumbo shouldn’t be missed. It has lobster, shrimp, crab, and a side of rice. It’s a delightful stew of seafood, okra, and fragrant spices. The oysters are only $20 per dozen and they’re all juicy, meaty, and huge. For a bit of everything, the combination seafood appetizer has oysters, shrimp cocktail, clamps. Squeeze some lemon juicy to give it that extra tang and you’ll take your tastebuds on a seafood adventure.

9. Black Bear Diner

One of the perfect places for brunch is Black Bear Diner. Trying to cure that hangover after a long night of partying at various clubs? For just $12.99 a pop, the bigfoot chicken fried steak and eggs. The chicken is greasy enough but not too oily and the eggs are nice and runny. The Mini Volcano is $8.99 and has an egg, a choice of sausage or bacon, and 2 pancakes made with sweet cream that you won’t even need the syrup. It tastes a bit like fortune cookie dough. Their coffee packs quite a punch so if you’re looking for some strong caffeine to start your day, their coffee is definitely what you should get. Hearty servings, fast and efficient service, and value for your money, Black Bear Diner is place that shouldn’t be missed.

10. Rollin Smoke Barbeque

Don’t let the fact that it’s surrounded by industrial yards and strip clubs deter you. Rollin Smoke Barbeque has some of the best BBQ dishes on The Strip. The two meat combo is $18.91. I suggest pork and chicken. The chicken is juicy, smokey, soft, and perfect. The 10 oz pork tastes like heaven and is so soft and easy to cut that it will just glide through your knife. Another combo is the trio meat combo with hot links, brisket, and 1/4 pound of chicken. The briskets are pretty good and adding some Carolina vinegar gives it an added snap and refreshing flavor. The hot links are spicy and savory. The chicken is juicy and soft. The BBQ sauce tastes sweet, tangy, and is made from scratch.

11. Firefly

Prepare for some of the best tapas of your life. You can select cold tapas or hard tapas. You’ll get addicted to the bacon wrapped dates for sure. Crispy bacon, blue cheese, and scrumptious dates will keep you craving for more. The Menchago Mac n Cheese is absolute heaven. There’s so much cheese and it’s still boiling when it gets to your table. The shrimp ceviche tastes great with flavorful shrimp and a side of avocado. Each plate is under $10 and plenty enough to share. The stuffed chicken and chorizo mushroom is marvelous and the mushroom’s texture is wonderful. Each piece is lip smacking good. For dessert, the cherry/chocolate pudding and mini passion fruit cheesecakes are quite delectable.

12. Mon Ami Gabi

The Endive salad is appealing. It’s refreshing, light, and a great starter. The seafood platter for 2 is rich and zesty. There’s a whole lobster, 4 giant shrimps, 4 fresh oysters, salmon ceviches, and different sauces for you to dip in.The Poisson Du Jour is a lightly seasoned Alaskan Cod. The texture is similar to crab meat, the mushrooms are well cooked and the beans add a nice touch. Steak Roquefort is gigantic with a huge helping of blue cheese sauce. It’s juicy and really good quality. Get a seat by the window to enjoy a view of the Bellagio Fountains as you enjoy your meal.

13. Secret Pizza

A giant slice of delicious pizza is $5, and though a little overpriced, it is still a lot cheaper than most meals on The Strip. If you’re craving for something greasy, tasty, and cheap, Secret Pizza is the place to go. My go-to choice is the white pizza for something simple but without toppings. It has feta cheese and a variety of other cheeses but without tasting overwhelmingly cheesy. Watch that stringy cheese and as you take your first bite and be amazed at the taste this slice produces. The veggie slice is also pretty awesome if you’re looking to cut a few calories. It’s not soggy and wet unlike most pizzas of this variety. The sauce to topping ratio is pretty balanced and tastes healthy and finger licking goo. The sausage n pepperoni is another people pleaser. It’s got a nice flavor and the sausage is really great.

14. Mochiko Chicken

The word “mochiko” might ring a few bells in some people. If it does, you’re probably familiar with the popular Japanese dessert “mochi” which is made with rice and filled with ice cream or cream. Mochiko Chicken is an Asian fusion restaurant which serves different rice bowls with all kinds of fillings. So what are some of the bowls you should try? Some of their best sellers are The Red Dragon, Crispy Asian-Q, Crispy Mochiko and Hawaiian Hen House. The bowls are $7.99 each but the Hawaiian Hen House is $8.99 which includes one egg. Each serving is perfect. You don’t feel stuffed but you’re not hungry either. The Grilled Coconut Curry is another favorite. The curry and coconut complement each other easily without one overpowering the other and paired with grilled chicken makes each bite taste like heaven. Most of the bowls are topped with some kind of cream sauce which is really tasty. Mochiko Chicken is located near the corner of a shopping mall. If you find a Trader’s Joe, you’ll know you’re near.

15. Café de Cebu

Though Filipino food isn’t as well advertised as Japanese, Chinese, and Korean, it doesn’t mean it’s any less tasty. Filipino restaurants are often hit and miss and Cafe de Cebu is a sure hit. One of the things you should try is kare-kare. This is a vegetable dish made with peanut butter (don’t knock it till you try it), Chinese cabbage also known as pechay, eggplant, string beef, and tender beef. Cebu is a popular island in the Philippines for tourists to visit and they’re well known for their lechon so once you go to this restaurant, I suggest checking it out, Lechon is a type of roast pork cooked Filipino style and the crispy skin is the best part. If you’re craving for something sour, try the sinigang. It’s a sour soup made of vegetables and traditionally pork or bangus but Café de Cebu likes to give it their own twist and use lechon instead. Don’t forget to order rice. There’s plain rice, bagoong rice, and other kinds but it’s traditional to eat Filipino food with rice and lots of it. If you’ve got some room for desert, the halo-halo is sweet and cold, perfect after spending time under the sun of Las Vegas.

16. Nanay Gloria’s

For only $8.50, you get to eat unlimited Filipino food. If you’re on a budget and extremely hungry, Nanay Gloria’s is the place to go. It’s a popular place for many Filipinos which is a good indicator that the food is genuine and delicious. There are different kinds of soup, adobo, pancit, kaldereta, bangus, sisig, and so much more. If you want to try a common cultural dish, adobo and chicken tinola are good choices. Some of the dishes may be a bit oily bit that’s common in Filipino food. At the side is a small market where you can purchase soda, chips, and other items. The restaurant is clean, there’s plenty of seating inside, and plenty of variety, for less than $10/person, you’re definitely getting a bang for your buck at Nanay Gloria’s.

17. Braddah’s Island Style

Braddah’s Island Style has been hailed as an upgraded version of Chipotle and after sampling a few of their dishes, it’s hard not to agree. The only difference is that their dishes are Hawaiian. The Kalua Pork Nachos are kinda addicting. There’s cheese, meat, guacamole, and corn chips. If you can’t decide on what to eat, you can ask for sample of their dishes. How many restaurants do that? To try a bit of everything, the 3 taco combo is a good order. There’s chicken, beef, and pork and you can order additional guacamole. The steak burrito has generous chunks of meat and flavorful rice. Do not forget to order the coconut bark. It’s an award winning dessert and for good reason too. Words aren’t enough to describe how good this is but if you’re gonna skip the tacos, burritos, and salads, you must not miss out on the dessert. You’ll thank me for this once you’ve tried it.

18. Island Style

One would assume that due to its name, Island Style would be serving food from beaches like Hawaii but this restaurant has a unique twist. Their food is actually Korean and you can tell it’s authentic because more than half their clients are Korean enjoying a taste of food from home. One dish is a mix of chicken teriyaki, meat jun and kalbi. Though the teriyaki sauce doesn’t really taste like teriyaki, you’ll forget that as soon as you dip the meat in the house sauce. It’s different but in a good way and will keep you wanting for more. This platter comes with thin slices of beef coated in egg batter and fried to pure goodness. For a Korean classic, go for the Bi Bim Bop. It has plenty of bulgogi beef with tons of vegetable sides such as bean sprouts, pickled carrots, spinach, daikon, cucumber, served on a bed of rice. This is all topped with a runny egg cooked sunny side up with seaweed and sesame seed. And it also comes with a side of broth or soup which you can pour yourself to get the right taste you want. If you’re not up for Korean, you can also order a Cheeseburger. It’s simple but tasty. Frilled meat, fresh lettuce, tomato, cheddar cheese and its of ketchup and mayonnaise served between two buns.

19. Carson Kitchen

Carson Kitchen serves their food family style so each plate is meant for sharing. For something exciting and different, try the bacon jam and baguettes. The jam is served sizzling, tangy, sweet, and very tantalizing to your taste buds. The baguettes are warm, toasted, and easy to chip. Pro tip, order extra baguettes for only $1 per person, you’ll need them cause the jam is a lot. Another appetizer is the crispy chicken skin with a side of smoked honey sauce for dipping. The skins are huge and crispy. Keep the sauce incase you might want to use it for other dishes. The Beef Belly Sliders are savory and delicious. There are 3 sliders and enough to share with others. The Co-co Espresso New York Strip is perfectly seasoned, and soft. The truffle Mac n Cheese is incredible and will have you craving for seconds or even thirds. If you’ve got room for dessert, get the Bourbon Fudge Brownies. It’s got a rich taste and full of chocolatey goodness. The Glazed Donut Bread Pudding with 2 Rum Caramel and topped with a huge scoop of vanilla ice cream is interesting. It tastes like a glazed donut with the texture of bread pudding.

20. Sage

Sage’s staple is the scallop & chicken entree. It’s a memorable dish that will stick with you for the weeks to come. For seafood, the Alaskan King Crab has grapefruit, sunchokes, and belgian endive and a full of delight in every bite. Up for something fancy? The Foie Grass Brilee is an interesting combination of toasted cocoa nibs, huckleberry compote, and toasted brioche. The star dish that will outshine all the others is the Wagyu Beef Tartare with slow poached egg, crushed caper aioli, and topped with crispy chocolate. There are very few people who won’t enjoy this dish. The Truffle Risotto Special is an absolute favorite and should be tried out. They change their menu every two weeks which is quite amazing since their chef can continue coming up with new creations. Whether you’re up for a romantic dinner, a nice family meal, or a fancy upscale bachelorette meal experience, Sage is where you should go.

21. Joel Robuchon

There are simply not enough words in the dictionary to describe the bread cart. You could practically have a whole meal just from eating this alone. You get to sample so many types of bread but still have enough room in your stomach to enjoy the main course. The Caviar atop Crab will take your breath away. This concoction combined with seafood glee is just sublime. With the level of detail given in the preparation of caviar and gelee, it looks a masterpiece crafted by an artist rather than a chef. The Green Pea and Almond Veloute will make you adore green peas and the veloute combined with the peas in a great combination. And finally, we get to dessert. The Le Chocolat is a bunch of cocoa pods with salted caramel ice cream. For something sweet but not overwhelmingly so, the Le Jasmin is Jasmine tea with lemon and pineapple confit. The sweetness and texture is light and smooth.

22. Flock & Fowl

The Hainan Chicken Rice is relishing and comes with a trio of sauces to choose from - house made chili, ginger scallion, and house made soy. The Thai Caramel Wings are sweet, crunchy, and large. It’s got a hint of honey, garlic, lemon, and ginger. Then there’s the house specialty, the Mary's Free Range Poached Chicken. It’s light, flavorful, the chicken has been poached and cooked in a special broth, served chilled, on a bed of fragrant rice. There’s also a bunch of house-made sauces to dip it in. The cornish game hen with salad is truly a phenomenal dish. The salad tastes crispy and fresh with tons of toppings from avocado, cucumber, tomatoes, kale, pomegranate arils, etc and tossed with some sesame dressing. The hen is astounding and scrumptious. Flock & Fowl lives up to its name by serving incredible chicken dishes at reasonable prices.

23. Egg & I

You can find some of the most delectable American breakfast and brunch meals at Egg & I. The classic eggs and bacon with French toast is delectable. The eggs are well seasoned and medium cooked. The chicken fried steak is good with potatoes or fruit. The potatoes are perfectly spiced and smell really good. If you choose the fruit, it’s a combination of fresh honeydew, pineapple, grapefruit and cantaloupe. The Santa Cruz Skillet has two sunny side eggs and buttered toast, chorizo, potatoes, and Santa Cruz sauce. It’s plenty enough to share with another person or on your own if you’ve got a big appetite. If you’re craving for something particularly sweet, then you should order the pancakes. You have choice of having them with chocolate chips or on their own. Egg & I has an extensive food menu and their choices can overwhelm you but luckily, they’ve got a great staff so just ask your waiter or waitress what they’d recommend and they’ll be more than happy to help.

24. Gordon Ramsay BurGR

The burgers at Gordon Ramsay BurGR use top quality and freshest ingredients. Each patty is expertly crafted over an open flame, powered by hard wood which results in a powerful and rich flavor. The burgers are complemented with crispy and hand-cut french fries from Kennebec potatoes which make them taste crispier, less starchy, and lighter. Top this off by dipping it in some of their signature chipotle ketchup or curry ketchup and your taste buds are in for an adventure. The Euro Burger and onion rings are to die for. For $16, the burger has oven roasted tomato, truffle aioli, arugula, and goat cheese which makes it taste even better. The Farm Burger is $15, a mix of fried egg, cheese, duck breast, and bacon. For one of the best burgers you’ll ever have, the Britannia Burger is what you should go for. This masterpiece contains arugula, mango chutney, and English sharp cheddar. The chutney, though unusual in a burger, gives it a certain sweetness that completes the dish. For dessert, go with Shake # 4, its main ingredients Oreo and it’s so big that it’s enough to share with another person.
