Five Steakhouses in Atlanta That Do Steak Right
Love steak? Check out these places in Atlanta that make a steak that would make the best grillmaster proud.
Let’s face it: steak can only go one way—perfectly seasoned, juicy, and cooked the way you like it. (And no, well-done doesn’t count; well-done is cardboard.) From dignified, fine dining restaurants to small meat joints, here is a list of Atlanta’s steakhouses where you can get the real deal.
Ocean Prime Atlanta
Ocean Prime Atlanta is revered for its exceptional seafood. But you see, Ocean Prime Atlanta has another card up its sleeve, which this writer thinks is even more exceptional than their seafood: steak, my fellow carnivores, steaks.
Their dry aged Prime Beef is simply superb, served with their special house sauce. The exquisite flavors complementing one another will just simply overwhelm your senses—in a good way! Another one of Ocean Prime's best sellers is their Atlanta's Ribeye. However, I urge you to try their Surf and Turf! Imagine succulent, pan seared scallops and braised short ribs so tender, they fall off the bone! It is unbelievably good, it's practically sinful.
With their elegant interiors and impeccable service, dining at Ocean Prime Atlanta is simply a marvelous experience.

Parker's bestsellers are the Kansas City Strip, Porterhouse for Two, and their T-Bone. Most of the steaks are served in generous portions. If you can't finish it with your date then you will have another excuse to see her again for breakfast, so why not invite her over for some steak and eggs at your place?
Parker's also has a wide range of wines that would go well with you dishes, so do ask your server about them.

If you love meat, then you’ll love BLT Steak, a carnivore’s heaven where the main stars of their menu are meats and steaks, and surrounded by side dishes and choices that make those stars shine even more. Ingredients are sourced from the best producers of seafood, meat, and vegetables, so it’s no surprise that what BLT Steak serves are just sublime.
In my opinion, BLT Steak’s bestseller is the American Wagyu Skirt Steak. From the beautiful marbling of the raw meat, then perfectly grilled to retain its juiciness, but I digress, as my description would never give justice to such fine meat. One must personally go to BLT Steak and indulge oneself with such great pleasure in life.
Other crowd favorites are their tuna tartare, BBQ burger and Organic Chicken.
BLT Steak is located at 45 Ivan Allen Jr Blvd NW Atlanta, GA 30308

Hal's has withstood the test of time—it is a cornerstone and is considered one of the gems in Atlanta's food scene. Hal's upscale but relaxed vibe features live music of jazz or blues, which adds to its overall laid-back atmosphere.
Hal's serves marvelous steaks and seafood, and is renowned for their remarkably-grilled fillet served with their butter sauce. I suggest you to just take your time to enjoy Hal's live music, eat great food, just sit back and have some cocktails.
Not in the mood for meat? Have a go with their seafood dishes, also widely considered as one of Atlanta’s best.
