Las Vegas isn't just neon lights and slot machines. The city offers up some of the best, most eclectic restaurants anywhere on the planet. Whether you are in the mood for all American fare, Asian, Italian or Mexican, you will find it on the strip. When staying at the Planet Hollywood Hotel and Casino you can dine like a movie star in one of their many restaurants. Each one has its own unique menu and decor and you just might spot a celebrity while you are there. Here are eleven of the best restaurants Planet Hollywood has to offer.

1. Earl of Sandwich

The Earl of Sandwich is a 24 hour deli style restaurant located on the casino floor. You can find hot or cold sandwiches for breakfast, lunch, dinner or a late night snack. All the sandwiches are made from fresh baked Artisan breads, the finest ingredients and they are made to order. Earl of Sandwich offers vegetarian and gluten free wraps as well as salads and fresh baked cookies and brownies.

Highly recommended is the The Original 1762 made with roast beef, cheddar cheese & horseradish sauce. Or how about The Full Montagu combining roasted beef, turkey, Swiss, cheddar, lettuce, Roma tomato & mustard sauce. For those who prefer a wrap try the handcrafted Thai wrap. You get an artisan tortilla stuffed with grilled chicken, romaine lettuce, Chinese cabbage mix, sweet chili sauce and Thai peanut dressing.

They have a full line of breakfast sandwiches as well as made to order omelets available until 11am everyday. Breakfast sandwiches are served hot with a fresh cracked egg and choices include cheddar or Swiss cheese and ham or bacon. All omelets are made with three eggs and come with potatoes and toasted Artisan bread.

2. Spice Market Buffet

Treat your taste buds to a culinary adventure at the Spice Market Buffet. The buffet has been voted one of Las Vegas' best buffets six years running. Here you will find cuisine from around the world. Pile your plate high with Tandoori skewers from the Mediterranean station, add on slices of fresh roast beef and don't forget a chicken taco or two. Don't forget to leave room for dessert.

Guest favorites include the meat carving stations, sushi, the sugar free cakes and cotton candy. The stuffed sole is a must try for all seafood lovers. And vegetarians will delight in the many options available to them at the Mediterranean and Middle East stations.

The buffet serves breakfast, lunch and dinner and offers a weekend brunch. During brunch you will be treated to unlimited champagne or mimosas. Dine on American style Eggs Benedict, Italian waffles and Baklava from the Middle East. The restaurant features movie posters with a food theme like "The Attack of the Killer Tomatoes." The dress code is casual and service starts at 7am until 11pm.

3. Gordon Ramsey BurGR

When nothing but a flame grilled burger will do head over to Gordon Ramsay BurGR. The gourmet burger joint is owned by celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay. All burgers are cooked over an open flame using natural hardwoods. American burgers meet International flavors guaranteed satisfy any carnivore. Come dressed to get messy and be prepared for a long line.

Popular menu items include the Hell’s Kitchen Burger; asadero cheese, roasted jalapeño peppers, avocado and oven roasted tomato. Try something more gourmet like the Farm Burger made with
duck breast bacon, english sharp cheddar and a fried egg. No burger would be complete without the fries. All fries are hand cut from Kennebec potatoes giving you a lighter, crispier fry. Sweeten it up with an order of the sweet potato fries dusted with vanilla infused powder sugar.

Vegetarians do not have to be left out as BurGR serves up vegan delights like the Earth Burger. The Earth Burger is a grilled portabello mushroom topped with fontina cheese, arugula lettuce and a roasted tomato. Round out your meal with one of their famous Sticky Toffee pudding served in a push pop. Gordon Ramsay BurGR is open from 11am - 12am Sunday - Thursday and 2am Friday and Saturday.

4. Planet Dailies

Planet Dailies is Planet Hollywood's version of the all American coffee shop. The 24 hour restaurant serves up some very exclusive dishes. For example, filet mignon or lobster Benedict for breakfast. Or how about a smoked salmon or lobster omelet? All breakfasts are served with a side of country potatoes or Planet Dailies infamous griddled beefsteak tomatoes. Breakfast is served 24 hours a day.

Coming for lunch or dinner be sure to bring an appetite. The menu choices are varied and huge, just like the portions. Like the Double Down burger; one pound Angus beef patty topped with bacon, onions, mushrooms, cheddar and Swiss cheese. Get a 12 ounce rib eye steak, chargrilled to order served with a salad and side dish of your choice. Be sure to try one of their hand dipped milk shakes like the Vanilla Banana malt made with vanilla ice cream, bananas and malt.

The restaurant has a list of menu items longer than the A-list of Hollywood. You can find everything from gourmet burgers, to Tex-Mex eggrolls, never ending pasta bowls to BBQ ribs. Whatever your taste buds are craving Planet Dailies can deliver. The dress attire is casual and you will find the restaurant located on the casino floor.

5. PF Chang's

Feeling in the mood for Asian food then PF Chang's has just what you need. The casual bistro style restaurant is located just off the Las Vegas strip. Weather permitting, enjoy the outdoor seating. PF Chang's is always adding new items to its menu and crafts all of their dishes with only the freshest ingredients.

The menu is varied and offers up spicy, traditional and new style Asian cuisine. Vegetarian and gluten free options are also available. For a light lunch try the Chicken Satay Pairing; flame-grilled, marinated chicken skewers glazed with coconut peanut sauce and served with crisp lettuce cups and a vegetable slaw. Or in the mood for spicy? Beef Á La Sichuan; fiery pepper sauce wok-tossed with crispy strips of marinated flank steak, julienne carrots, celery and green onion. PF Chang's opens at 11am and serves until 12am Sunday - Thursday and 1am Friday and Saturday.

6. Yolos

When you are looking for margaritas and Mexican dishes head over to Yolo's Mexican Grill. The casual cantina style restaurant is located in the corner of the casino floor. Yolo's offers a full bar with over 60 different tequilas used to make their signature fresh fruit margaritas. Find lunch specials daily as well as $5 Happy Hour margaritas and appetizers Monday through Friday.

Start your meal with their homemade chips, served warm with fire roasted pepper salsa. Another popular appetizer is the Blue Corn Coconut Shrimp; tiger shrimp breaded with blue corn tortilla chips and coconut fried to perfection. The shrimp are served with a spicy habanero papaya salsa for dipping. Enjoy the show when you order the Guacamole Fresca and watch your server prepare this delicious dip right at your table, served with warm tortilla chips.

In the mood for tacos try their street tacos like the duck carnitas. These tacos feature marinated duck meat served in soft corn tortillas with fresh chopped green onion and cilantro topped with chayote and prickly pear salsa. The street tacos also come in other meat options like chicken, carne asada, pork carnitas and even goat. Yolo's also serves up traditional Mexican favorites like enchiladas and fajitas.

Lunch specials are available daily for only $9.95. Choose between the Street Tacos, in your choice of chicken, steak or carnitas; the Yolo's Burrito, Tostada Salad or the house made Tamales. All lunch specials, except for the Tostada Salad,come with a side of black beans and rice. Add on a margarita for an extra $5. Open Sunday - Thursday from 11am - 10pm, Friday and Saturday from 11:30am - 11pm.

7. Pin Up Pizza

Enjoy pizza by the slice served by ladies dressed like famous pin-up girls from the 1950s. Pin Up Pizza offers the largest single slices of pizza on the Vegas strip. The dough is flown in from Naples and made daily. Made from a 7 year sourdough starter low gluten dough creates a crust that is thin and crispy. You can choose from seven varieties of this New York style pizza; cheese, sausage, pepperoni, salami trio, big meat, margherita and chicken with spinach.

Pin Up Pizza offers two dining rooms. One is indoors and includes a view of the open kitchen. Or sit in the glass enclosed patio and people watch the strip. Located in front of Planet Hollywood, next to Pink's Hot Dogs. Pin Up Pizza is perfect for those with the late night munchies as they are open daily until 4am.

8. Pink's Hot Dogs

This hot dog restaurant has been a Las Vegas landmark since opening in 1939. Located in the very center of the Vegas strip you can eat your dog on the go or in the outdoor dining area. The tables have umbrellas for shade in the summer and heat lamps during the winter. The prices are reasonable and the food is plentiful. Pink's signature chili dog is just $3.45.

Besides the classics, Pink's offers up their own signature hot dogs. For example, the Three Dog NIght; three hot dogs wrapped in a tortilla with three slices of American cheese, three strips of bacon and chili and onions. You might want to try the Pastrami Burrito. This culinary delight is a tortilla wrapped around two hot dogs, slices of pastrami, Swiss cheese, chili and onions.

Or you can order up one of their SuperStar dogs like the Martha Stewart. This hot dog is topped with bacon, onions, tomatoes, relish, sauerkraut and sour cream. Or the Giada De Laurentiis dog topped with peppers, onions, tomatoes, mushrooms and mozzarella cheese. Open daily at 10:30am until 12am Sunday - Thursday and 3am Friday and Saturday.

9. Koi

Koi is an upscale dining establishment serving Japanese dishes with a California influence. The restaurant chain started in Los Angeles and has become a popular place in Las Vegas. The sultry Asian restaurant combined with Hollywood flare makes it a hotspot for celebrities. After dinner move into the adjoining lounge for an after dinner cocktail and enjoy the live music.

Koi serves up many signature dishes like their crispy rice topped with tuna. Or their Miso Bronzed Black Cod served alongside seasonal fresh vegetables. Shrimp lovers will enjoy the tiger prawns sauteed in sake and served with a sweet sriracha sauce. Other entree items include Wasabi Braised Short Ribs served with root vegetables and tempura onion rings. Or the Grilled Lamb chops with a shishito potato mash.

Also on the menu is traditional sushi and sashimi plates made from snow crab, water eel or sea urchin served with fresh grated Wasabi. You will also find housemade rolls like the Dragon Roll. This spring roll is filled with their shrimp tempura, eel, baked crab & tempura flakes. The Surf & Turf roll made with tempura shrimp and avocado topped with Waygu beef ponzu is a tasty option. Open daily at 5:30pm until 10:30pm Sunday - Thursday and 11:30pm Friday and Saturday.

10. Strip House

Strip House is an upscale steak house fit for a Hollywood star. The restaurant is located on the mezzanine level of Planet Hollywood. The restaurant features all red decor, low lighting and black and white prints of ladies from the 1900's. Dress code here is business casual.

Start with an appetizer like the House Cured Beef Jerky served with pickled Napa kraut, Fresno chili and shaved apple salad. If you are fan of seafood try the Lobster Bisque or Jumbo Lump Crab Cake. The Strip House also has a full raw bar serving oysters on the half shell and both shrimp and crab cocktails.

All of their steaks are prime cuts of beef charred to perfection. The side dishes are star inspired from their truffle creamed spinach to their goose fat potatoes. Steak cuts include New York strip, Filet Mignon and bone in Rib Eye all cooked to order. Pair your steak with a side of garlic herb french fries, potato puree or the jumbo asparagus sprinkled with sea salt.

Other entree items include seafood, chicken and lamb selections. If you still have room be sure to try their famous 24 layer chocolate cake for dessert. Open daily at 5pm until 11pm Sunday - Thursday and 11:30pm Friday and Saturday.

11. Ringer Wings, Pizza & Sliders Sports Book

Located on the casino floor, Ringer's gives diners great bar food with a view to the action in the casino. Guests can watch a variety of sports on the floor to ceiling LED screens located around the dining area. No need to stop gambling just to eat as Ringer's has all of the gambling options of any sports book. Food is served from 11am - 12am while the bar never closes. Great drink specials can be found here like the bucket of beer for only $25.

Ringer's menu consists of the usual wings, pizza and sliders and some unusual flavors as well. Get your wings in the usual honey, bbq, mild, medium and hot or try something different like the Jalapeno Tequila Lime, Teriyaki Pineapple or Parmesan Garlic. All flavors come either bone in wings or boneless chicken tenders.

Sliders come in a number of different options. Sure, they have the burger options with cheese and bacon, but they also have chicken and fish. Chicken tender sliders come in spicy garlic or honey bbq and are two for $6. For something a little different you can order a Garlic Knot Meatball Slider with a meatball, mozzarella cheese, tomato sauce and Parmesan ranch dressing. Ringer's is open 24 hours every day.
