1. The Cottage

It's a locals' favorite that has been around since 1992, and the owner's constantly try to set the bar higher. Their lunch menu includes unique offerings like eggplant fries and Ahi tuna nachos, as well as classic favorites like chicken sandwiches and burgers. They offer a garden burger for vegetarians and Mahi tacos for lighter fare. Lunch is served from 11:30 am to 4:30 pm Tuesday through Saturday, and 11:30 am to 3 pm Sunday and Monday. If you want a guaranteed good meal that's tried and true, you can't go wrong with The Cottage.

2. The Taco Stand
If variety is the spice of life, then you shouldn't be afraid to mix things up and try this family-owned taco shop. Based on authentic family recipes, The Taco Stand delivers delicious tacos and burritos made from real ingredients. The corn tortillas are homemade, and you'll find only top-notch meats and fillings. The options are endless, from fish tacos and grilled chicken to burritos stuffed with steak and shrimp. You'll also find other favorites on their menu like quesadillas and corn on the cob. The Taco Stand is reasonably priced and certain to be a memorable dining experience. They are open Monday to Sunday from 11 am to 9 pm.

Cody's guarantees great views and excellent service, all while you dine on a variety of delicious options. They serve up thick-sliced french toast, fish and chips, and great BLTs (just to name a few). The portions won't disappoint, and the casual ambiance will help you feel like you're on vacation. Also not to be missed are their great drink offerings from local brews to refreshing spritzers--served out of charming mason jars. They're open weekdays and weekends from 8 am to 3 pm.

4. Burger Lounge
The Burger Lounge brings a lot to the table, mainly wonderful burgers and fries that you can't help but love. Whether you like a classic with cheese or something a little more exotic like an elk burger with mushrooms, you can feel good about what comes out of the kitchen. Using only grass-fed, high quality ingredients, the folks at the Burger Lounge care about customer satisfaction. They also adhere to allergy restrictions and food preferences by offering gluten free items and vegetarian-friendly burgers. You'll also find a great range of healthy salads if burgers aren't your thing. The Burger Lounge is open Sunday through Thursday from 10:30 am to 9 pm, and Friday and Saturday from 10:30 am to 10 pm. Best of all, this great lunch spot is only two blocks from the beach!

5. The Baked Bear
Lunch is great, but since it's not the most important meal of the day, it's okay to occasionally forgo this one meal in favor of something sweeter. The Baked Bear is always busy, which tells you something about their business, and once you've visited once you're sure to go back for more. This sweet shop doles out custom ice cream sandwiches made from scratch. You can choose your cookie flavor and ice cream flavor from a long list of options including funfetti, red velvet, mint chip, and butter pecan, then top it all off with caramel, whipped cream, or hot fudge. If cookies aren't your thing, then you can have your sandwich made from brownies or donuts instead. The Baked Bear is better than your average ice cream shop and way more fun. Hours are Sunday through Thursday 12 pm to 11 pm and Friday and Saturday 12 pm to 12 am.
